✨ Extended Collections

• Add support for exporting extended (child) variable collections for Figma Enterprise users. Extended collections inherit variables from a parent collection and can override specific values per brand or theme, enabling scalable multi-brand design token systems directly in Figma.

✨ Features

• Color tokens using rgba with references now export as Figma variables linked to their color and opacity variables.

🐛 Bug Fixes

• Exporting tokens to Figma variables no longer reshuffles your themes file. New variables are added at the end, existing ones keep their place, and references to deleted tokens are cleaned up.

• Fixed token value tooltips appearing late or not at all when hovering tokens in large token sets. Hovering a token no longer re-renders every other token in the list, and neither does changing the selection or applying a token

Deprecated token state

Mark tokens as deprecated with clear visual indicators, kept in sync both ways with Tokens Studio. Each deprecation carries metadata for severity, replacement tokens, and removal timelines — so you can retire tokens without breaking downstream work.

Gradient tokens (Tokens Studio Platform users only)

Create, inspect, and export gradient tokens as Figma paint styles.

Motion, duration, and cubicBezier tokens

Support for new motion-related token types. Duration and cubicBezier tokens can now be exported as native Figma motion variables (Number/Time and Easing) via a new Motion checkbox in the variable export options.

🛠️ Improvements

• Cleanup for stale variables on gradient export. Figma variables can't hold gradient values, so a variable bound from a previous color export would keep overriding the new gradient style. The export flow now scans for these mismatches and gives you a checkbox to clean them up in one step.

✨ Improvements

• Improved bulk duplication: the set picker no longer closes after every tick when duplicating a token or token group. It's now a proper multi-select panel that stays open while you pick sets, with a search field at the top to filter long set lists and a select-all toggle that acts on whatever the search is currently showing.

• Optimized the variable export process for faster performance on large token sets.

🐛 Bug Fixes

• Fixed the default preset's box shadow token: its individual layers used $type instead of type for the shadow type (a leftover from the DTCG migration), which made the layer type unreadable and caused every layer to render as a drop shadow instead of one drop and one inner shadow.

• Fixed legacy↔DTCG token format conversion on GitHub silently committing only $metadata.json without rewriting any token files.
